Dark_Sub_Rosa and I were chatting about differences between model years and the topic of the starter button came up.

Apparently some of these buttons light up. Mine does not, but he has removed lights from these starters before so at the very least some of these thing have a light built-in but I have yet to ever see a picture of one lit up...

Have any of you seen these magical glowing buttons or is he smoking the crack?

Mine lights up and projects a holographic image of a finger pressing the button.

 

My 2002 lights up. I don't think my whole button lights up though -- just the letters. It also stays lit with the lights off.
