Dogs and S2000’s
After totaling my 2005 NB Miata in 2010 (due to a careless SUV), this is the first convertible I’ve had since. That car was my decompression chamber. Riding like a hooligan on a sport bike is great but it’s just not the same. Besides, my best pal couldn’t go. He absolutely LOVED that car. More than me, I’m pretty sure. When asked if he wanted to go for a ride, he couldn’t contain himself. Just thought I’d share a pic of our first ride of many to come in the S2000. This dog means more to me than anything I own and the smile I had taking this photo was bigger than his. As much as I’m loving the performance and sheer joy of driving this car, there’s nothing that could beat this. He’s 10 years old, still incredibly full of life and we have a bond that can’t be expressed.
Im sure there’s been threads like this before, but if you’d like to share your own, I’d love to see them. Enjoy

Great looking dog. I just lost my dog a couple of months ago. They are such good buddies. You are lucky indeed. Enjoy.

My late chocolate lab loved a window in any car/SUV but I was leery of him in the S2k because I always thought he could fall out because he wanted to get half his body out, so he only road in it a few times.
Enjoy the S2k and the Dog, and be safe!

No pics right now but I hear you on the bond with dogs. I have 2, a black lab and giant schnauzer. The older my wife and I get, the more we love our dogs. I cannot imagine living without them. (Thank God the cat is dead) The giant schnauzer is getting up there in years and cannot run with me anymore. The lab goes bird hunting, fishing, and backpacking with me. Has his own pack so he can pack enough food for 2 weeks. He is my shadow.
Great pic and the dog smile says it all.

There are those of us who have (and love) our dogs, and then there are those folks who don't have a clue. Currently have the last two of the 6 Golden Retrievers I've rescued in the last 17 years (they're 15 and 12 years old now). As I've often said, they are the Lord's invisible hand gently guiding me to be the better person He had originally intended.
