Doing donuts in a parking lot
can you get ticketed for it?
I ask only cause I'm trying to figure out the limits of my s2k and wanna see what it acts like when the rear slides out

You can get ticketed for something. Technically a parking lot is private property (unless it's a government building) and therefore the vehicle code does not apply, at least in most states (may want to check the DMV codes for your state) However that being said you could be charged with other stupid things if the cops really wanted like probably loitering or even vandalism (yes leaving big black marks COULD be considered vandalism) I wouldn't try it, just not a good idea. Go to a track day, run it hard and see how the back end kicks out instead.
Actually, I just did a few donuts last night. My buddy has an 03 Mercury Marauder and he tried to do a brake torque but decided against it which was
. So it's my turn!!! gave it gas, turned the wheel and around I went. This is by far the easiest car to do a donut in. IMO

Yes, it's called reckless endangerment... not that I know or anything

Just like anything else, if the lot is empty late at night and it's safe... go right ahead. Just don't expect some loophole if you do get caught.

Right on. I've seen people get both reckless endangerment and reckless driving tickets. Both of which are FAR worse than the garden variety speeding ticket.

I can understand other types of complaints - like noise ordinances but that's about it.
