I think the problem is that the 2.0L motor remains in Japan where a significant ammount of the development happens. With the USDM being the only ones to get the 2.2L, it will be interesting to see how long it takes for anyone to come out with compatible mods.

I hadn't thought about Canadian cars. If they keep the F20C, I might have to sneak across the border and buy me a guage cluster.

I understand what u guys are saying about maybe its hard to find parts for the motor... But I dont think they changed the Bore right? If they didnt change the bore and the only increased the Stroke then the same pistons from the F20C1 will fit the F22C1 right? Maybe the rod will be a little bit shorter though. Also if they didnt change the design of the manifold then a turbo kit for the F20C1 will fit on the F22C1. U know what i mean guys?

They moved the oil pump as well. I don't think the bore was changed, just the method that they do the boring was changed by using a dummy head. The stroke is different. CAIs should still fit, Comptech/Vortech should/may still fit unless they moved the pulleys around and/or changed their size. I'm sure things like the Toda springs and cams will still fit, but who knows at this point. Flywheels and clutches probably still fit, rear gearing, not too sure about since they made some changes there. I'm sure the AEM EMS, Greddy eManage and VAFC can be configured correctly, but it'll take some time to figure it out. I'm sure the header and exhaust is the same as well, but they may have changed things a bit.

I don't think anyone is going to know until someone ponies up the dough and gives it a shot.

I am pretty sure that the JDM model runs 11.7 (they have higher octane fuel available in Japan meaning that they can run higher compression ratios) ..... so the USDM model should be good for a small lift in compression .....
