So your car's dirty as hell right?

Sooo you spend your sweet ass time washing it... but then 5 minutes after your done drying.. this happens

DUN DUN DUNNnnnn

WATER COMES LEAKING FROM THE NOOKS AND CRANNYS!

Well before, when this happened, I would use an air compressor, and spend a lonnnng time blowing out all the water... but that just took too much time... so now I do this:

Oh crap i parked on the hose, lemme move my car. brb.

So anyway, basically i use the "quilted quicker picker upper, bounty", (paper towels) and i tear them into 3rds, and basically, stick them in all the cracks.

This is useful anywhere, even under ur taillights... so anyway.. they basically will suck up all the water, and prevent those damn hidden water drops from coming out.. and.. you can just leave it on your car after you've washed it.. for like 10 minutes, and when they're dry enough, the paper towels will fall to the ground

Or they'll just be loose and you can take em out.
The end.

Dude, way too much effort there, and you are killing innocent trees. I dry mine off, get in and take a hot lap down the street and back. If I hit atleast 35mph or so, all of the water blows out of the seams and then I dry the runners off and I'm done.

Have you tried an electric lawn blower? Works quite well in blowing all of that water out of the nooks and crannies. Don't use gas since the two stroke engine may blow some oil on your car.

Yep, could be, mine is silver. I have a Toyota Pick Up that is black and it spots up like hell. But usually the same technique works for that also, but you have to make it a short drive and get it wiped down ASAP! One other possible cause... hard water. If I don't dry mine quickly and thoroughly, I get an unbelievable amount of water spots. I am getting a water softener for the house very soon just for this reason.

Maybe I should check into this leaf blower thing too.....

A couple of times through this bad boy usually does the trick. No toilet paper wasted.
