Default Door foam tape?

Hey everyone, I recently bought an s2000 and am trying to do a bit of clean up/resto. The csr has had some painting done on the fender which led to overspray on the inside of the driver door as pictured. Does anyone know what the rubber/foam seal here is called that goes down that area of the door? I would like to put something similar in the missing sport then do a bit of paint over but can’t find any info

everyone,

The rubber pictured is called the door seal. Not cheap.

Its unclear what you're planning to do, or how a rubber seal relates to a paint fix.

im referring to the area that’s missing paint not the seal. There is some kind of foam tape that is paint matched around that fold of the metal on the door that has been scraped away a little

seam sealer. you can buy it- or at least I can locally- at the parts store. It comes in a tube- like silicone for home projects.

Just went to look at my door. Its not seam sealer. SS is a tube of caulk. You'd apply it to bare metal, before paint, to seal...seams.

This literally is a molded foam tape. But the red car its not just missing where paint flaked, that rough surface is the foam tape that has been split, and adhesive side remains, but smooth, molded part gone.

I don't think this stuff is going to be available separately. If it is, fix would be remove door. Remove remaining tape. Apply tape. Repaint. Doesn't seam worth it (see what I did there?)

I ageee, the car only has 30k miles so I want to make it look as nice as possible. I have ordered a few things like seam sealer and some double sided tape to see what fits best then will spray it with new formula red just that area and call it a day.
