Default Door Net Usage Survey

I have a MY2001 S and my door panels do not have cargo nets. I understand that some later AP1 and AP2 door panels have nets of various sizes.

I'd like to see what model year you have and if you have the smaller AP1 late model net or the larger net, that I believe came with the AP2.

What do you use your net for?

I have an 02 and the side pockets are pretty worthless. Maybe some gas receipts or something like that might fit. Or, condoms

I use my door nets so infrequently, I'd hide an emergency pack of stoges in there (before I quit) and I'd still run to the store when I thought I ran out.

I've owned an AP2 for 6 days now, and I don't see myself ever using them. I'm not one to keep a bunch of 'junk' in my car either though.

I have an 02 and the nets on the doors can only be used for small pieces of paper (I never use those nets). But I use the net on the passangers side center console - it's got a pack of hand sanitizer wipes. That's it.

Yeah for the OP, keep in mind the little area with the door nets was re-designed between AP1 and AP2:

AP1: You can fit a business card in the door net. Maybe 3 of them, good luck getting them out.
AP2: Pockets now can actually hold something. You can fit 3 business cards and two tic-tac containers and you can now get them out.

If you have an AP1, I wouldn't even bother.

I keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in the net pocket on the passenger side center console. It is the only place I could find that would fit a decent size pump bottle.

Over the years I've never used them on my AP1 or AP2 for anything, I believe every now and then one of my passengers will use the passenger side net for their keys or phone. I do like the larger AP2 nets sheerly for asthetic reasons however as I stated I've still never used them personally.

I used to have my iPod in the passenger side trams tunnel one, since the cable to the stereo came out fron the dash right there. Door nets are basically worthless.
