Thanks for your responses. I'm looking to swap my '01 AP1 panels out to get tweeter mounts when I upgrade my audio system. It doesn't sound like there's much difference in panel nets.

 

My air freshener is refillable, so I keep the refills in the door net. I mean, I don't hate them to the point where I wish they weren't there. If I was going somewhere far I'm sure I'd put some random stuff in there.

 

I use my AP2 door panels for a few things - Passenger side holds a small black zipper bag (used for makeup and cosmetics I think, fits perfectly) that I keep loose change, sunscreen, tire pressure gauge, and a few other small things in. The driver's side fits my sunglasses well, mostly because I hate constantly reaching over my shoulder to the actual sunglass holder compartment. They are darn small though.

 

I never used the door nets in my AP1 the whole time I had the car.

 

I wish I had one (2000 AP1) so i could put my wallat, key pad, phone and maybe wipe towel in it

 

i think my passenger side net has a pair of scissors in them...dont ask me, i know its pretty random....now that i have an aftermarket radio with ipod hook up, ill probably keep my ipod there

 

My garage door opener is a brick, but it fits nicely in the door panel net.

 

I've owned my AP2 for almost 4 years now, and most I've had is my stereo remote and a pen.

 

I keep one of those micro-mini umbrellas in there.

 

I was able to stick a receipt from the bank in my 2002. Could not find anywhere else to put it.
