DOT doing something about HID lights?
Someone once mentioned that the European S2000 lights are different in that they (like BMW and Audi) have auto adjusters that keep them aimed at the ground?
The s2000's lights are the worst of any I have ever seen -- while the S4 may not throw out as much light with its HID's at least they stay out of oncoming drivers eyes.

My car doesn't have any kind of auto adjustment so I'm not sure where that idea came from. However, the HID lights are fantastic and I wonder if they're set up the same over here compared with the States.
I can see precisely where my beam hits on the rear of cars I follow and it's nowhere near their rear view mirrors, however, when no cars are around visbility is great and that is about the most important thing a safe driver can have, IMO.
What gets me is the increasing number of idiots who drive on undipped 'driving' or auxiliary lights that scatter the beam in every direction - even with their main headlights turned off
Seem to remember a lot of drivers Stateside do that also, so don't see how anyone can complain about your dipped lights.
