I agree. I think the dealer just fed you some which they are so good at doing.
Funny how salesman come up with this stuff to make one actually think they know what thier talkin about when in reality, they dont have a clue.

I would like to use my cover because I like the look with it on. But when I get to where I'm going and take it off, I can't fit it in the trunk.

What's the trick to getting it in the trunk?

The two sides fold or tuck in; check the owners manual or just put it on the shelf!

I find the cover a pain in the butt as it's not the easiest thing to put on..

I very rarely use mine..

The owner's manual for my 03 doesn't say anything about how to fold the top (at least that I've found yet). There is an illustration on the inside/back or the cover but the words are in German (?). My biggest concern about folding the top is leaving creases.
