lets just put it this way, in the manuel, 2nd goes to 65, 3rd goes to 90 and 4th goes to i think 118. im not sure but as long as your 5 mph from the top speed of each gear, drop it in that gear for maximum power. i love going about 55 and dropping 2nd, its soooooo nasty. give it a try.

in 55 and 2nd gear... you would have to shift the next second after that anyways... since it is about 7500rpms... 2 goes to 60 and 3 goes to 80 and 4th goes to 115...and i believe 5th goes up to 135
and6th up to 163 downhill and about 157 straight and downhill does make a ton of difference

You should rev-match when downshifting most of the time if not all the time.. especially if downshifting agressively for power gain purposes, if you don't you either burn the clutch or run the risk of upsetting the chassis/weight distribution which is never a good thing, especially if you are in a turn.

Always rev-match down shift and never from 6 to 4th. always 6 to 3rd because it is almost impossible to accidentally downshift to 6 to 1st. (I think)

emrill, clutch-in, tap throttle (blip) and shift gear down almost simultaneously, then clutch out.

i may be the odd-one-out here, but when i shift up or down it's always one gear at a time because i find it helps me remember the match for each gear better.

unfortunately yes. i've seen people who just select the lower gear and just pop off the clutch, and never even blip the throttle. it really feels like you're in a train wreck, thats how bad it is. if you can revmatch properly, the downshift will feel very smooth and you will not lose any speed.

im a little hesitant on the rev match. i can get a very smooth down shift just by feathering, no bucking at all. ill begin to try the rev match, its just gonna take me some time to get used to the power band and gear ratios i guess.
