So, being sick all week sucks. And I'm probably still sick today because of yesterday... Let me explain...

I had run out to pick up a few things for a relaxing day at home. Almost home, I see a couple of cars pulling out of the gas station behind me and eventually working their way past slower traffic (one lane each direction - Route 28 toward Poolesville if anyone's interested). So I decided to keep going past my turn.

Well... To shorten a long story, I spent the next 3 hours or so winding around the best back roads in Montgomery and Frederick county with a very friendly pair: One, a red Ferrari 355 Berlinetta and the other a dark green Lotus Esprit V8 Turbo.

WHAT A WAY TO SPEND AN AFTERNOON! No racing, just some really hard to-the-limit (for me) driving on some great great roads. Turns out these AVS Intermediates aren't all that bad.

And I got a battle scar - chip in the windshield from those monsterously wide, pebble-kicking Esprit tires.

All I have to say is WOW. Great people and a wicked drive. I just needed to share. Thanks

Aw man, i just love those ferrari's..<sigh>..maybe one day!!

 

The F355 is certainly the dream, just to stand next to one, let alone watch its taillights for a bit.

Awesome dude! I'm not much of an Esprit fan, but man that F355 (or 360) is THE dream car for me. One kicka** automobile for sure!!
