Default Dream S2000

If money was no option how would you build your S2000? What rims, body-kits, performance parts would you throw at your S? Don't just say turbo, exhaust, and intake....what brand names?

I'd get a 2003 S2000 in silverstone with the black and red interior if I was the one that had to maintain it. If it was someone else doing the waxing, I'd definitely go with black with red interior.

For motor work, I'd get Joe Alaniz to do his full treatment for street cars, then add on a Vortech supercharger and tune it all with an AEM EMS. I'd be looking at, hopefully 325+ rwhp. That would require aftermarket intake, headers, and exhaust, of course. I'd probably go with all Mugen parts for those, except I don't like their body kit that much. Hard to say.

For wheels, I'd probably grab 18" Volk LE-37s with S03 rubber. I might consider some SSR Competitions in 18", though - very hot and not as common as the Volks, I think. The SSR Professors are hot, too (see JohnS2K's car).

For body kit, I'd probably just stay with the stock lip and rear spoiler. However, I might throw on an aftermarket hood (painted CF, probably, since I don't especially like the bare CF look).

Inside, I wouldn't do much. I'd probably put an aftermarket shift knob in - maybe a lower, heavily weighted knob like the one's Muz (?) did a while ago. Titanium, of course.

I'd probably drop the car with a set of Tein coilovers, though I might go with the Mugen setup (NZ?).

Of course, I'd be out at least $55K by that point, maybe more, and there are other cars I'd possibly get for that kind of money. M3, used NSX, or 993 TT would be obvious choices for me.

Hmm,

I'd like 2 Bride Brix II's in black.
17 inch Volk CE28s in Ti Gunmetal.
Amuse R1 front bumper.
Veilside V.1 rear spoiler.
J's Racing Header.
Amuse dual R1 exhaust.

I would be very happy with this setup.

I'd build the RS*R drift car (stripped, gutted, fully carbon fiber, built motor, turbocharger) except configured with a JRZ or Moton suspension geared for open track rather than drifting.

well i am working on mine right now.

but while we are in dream mode-

-a yellow,1st gen s2k and deck it out just like the yellow comptech car.

-a blk, second gen(04/05) and deck it out just like the mugen car in the sport compact mag(everything but the paint job). also add the inline pro stroker kit to it.

-a white 1st gen and try to make a s2k

If money is not an option, I don't know why people think they can pay their car off.

Let's see, if money is not an option, that means one must "acquire" the parts one needs by other means. So that sort of limits the choices of what one can get to what is externally visible and easy to remove. Chances are wheels are fairly easy to "obtain", but other parts like a body kit or turbo kit or CAI or exhaust would be much harder because they are either not very visible or not easy to remove. But if one was to go that route anyway, why not case out a car that already has exactly what you wanted and then just "acquire" the whole car and forget about building it up with the pieces?

Some of you did mention the "what" parts with brand names, but so far, no one has posted "how" they'd obtain the parts with no money.
