Good luck man... not a lot of room for error in the s2k while drifting from what I've heard.

s2k slides out uncontrollably! haha, I took the s2000 out on a big sweeping turn, just to see how it would react.

The old camaro I had would kick and then sort of lean...then dilly dally over to slide.

The s2000 just sort of snaps over...really hard to control..Not to mention you gotta be going fast + high revs...vs the low grunt of the SS...

I don't want to wreck my s2k so I bought an s13 240sx to play with. I'm doing the sr20det swap now and I've got a ton of parts as well, coilovers, fmic, nismo mounts and some 5 lug wheels. I'll have it put together in the spring I think. I intend on learning how to drift for fun and then I'll do it in the s2k

if you can drift the s2k, then drifting other cars just feels like cheating.

Does drifting cause premature differential wear?

^any sort of hard driving will...specially if youre clutch-kicking the drifts... sicne basically youre 'shocking' the rear end of the car to eitheir lock up or speed up...Id have to say yes, it will...lol
