Just read my sport compact car, the new WRx has this drive by wire and the biggest thing problem seemed to be the delay caused by the drive by wire throttle. Will b e interesting to see how the s2k stacks up

 

Welcome to the world of techno-technicians. In some ways it is a good thing, but in other ways it makes life very difficult.

 

I can't see how a drive-by-wire throttle would be delayed to be noticeable beyond turbo lag on the WRX. I think you'd actually need to measure the "delay" to see if it's real rather than perceived or caused by something else...
