Default Drive By Wire Difference?

In 2006 the S2000 went to drive by wire. Is there really that much difference in the way it drives?

i cant say on the ap2 but i owned a crossfire and every blue moon the car would not respond when you got on the gas.some times it would scare the hell out of you.say leaving a stop sign entering a busy road.my accord i believe has a drive buy wire and i have no issues with it.

wfo performance is the same as a throttle cable car. i have noticed throttle tip in is slightly different then cable cars as well. for 99.9% of situations, the dbw car is unnoticeable. don't hesitate in buying one.

I had DBW in my 04 TSX and did not like the combo of DBW and the Traction contol. Remember that was one of Honda's firts shots at DBW and the issues I had are probably why the S did not get it unil 06.

My first S2000 was an 03. I've had my current 06 for about 3 years. The difference in the DBW is barely noticeable. You can sometimes notice it in VERY low RPMs. I mean, below 2k. But seriously, how many of us drive the car aggressively in the 1-2k RPM range?

No complaints with my 06 throttle. Super responsive and precise. I love blipping.

^ i had an 05 TSX and i didn't like the DBW either. it was poorly implemented, and the clunky accelerator was floor mounted, which didn't help its precision or feel.

the S2000 DBW is great. i drove an 04 and 07 back to back and really couldn't tell much difference at all.
