Default Driver's side seatbelt squeak

As time has gone by we've learned that -

- Lucid's rear Kenwood 3-ways solve the audio problem extremely well
- Pro Honda's Spray Cleaner and Polish, aka Roadside Detailer, clears the plastic rear window (Please try on both sides before starting any legal action against Honda, thanks)
- GM Syncromesh fluid takes care of a host of transmission problems
in '00 and '01
- Porsche's convertible top conditioner can keep it looking like new

but nowhere has a fix been mentioned for the pesky seat belt
squeak coming over the left shoulder. Maybe I've missed the thread
on this one.
Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

I have the same problem except most of the time, my music is loud enough that I don't hear it. I don't think that its the seatbelt. I think it might be part of the leather rubbing against the side. Anyone else have this problem?

Driver's door sound:
My observation, passenger side seat belt, when not in use knocks on door jamb.
My fix, when the seat is empty I buckle it up, viola! no more noise.

Hope this works.

Seat belt squeak on driver's left shoulder, I'm thinking of a pad, of terry cloth or soft material at the point of contact( seat's edge)

If it works I'll pass it on.

Thanks to all

Are you sure? When I would turn around to check the squeek, I moved the seatbelt off the edge of the seat and could not locate the noise. Sit straight and the squeek would return.

Anyway, I put a piece of black felt with a sticky back on the edge of the seat where the belt rubbed.

chrysis -

The Pro Honda spray cleaner/polisher is available at Honda dealers, also works real well on bug splatters. All the bikers
use it on their fairings so they don't have to wet wash their bikes.

My thoughts are with Nin009, but was hoping someone had a easy fix that didn't involve glue. The belt rubs on the piping that
runs around the seat and when we have one of those Rocky Mtn
afternoon thunderstorms, the top and windows have to go up.
When the top is down the squeak is masked by road noise.

I have the squeek noise too its from the seat belt rubbing on the seat. My red leather has black marks on it where it rubs. I've just been dealing with the noise.

I actually complained about this squeak a year plus ago and Rick Hesel came to the rescue.
