driving top down w/ windows rolled up
I have them down if the top is down. The top is down if possible; That is no downpour that would ruin the interiour and temperature over minimum safe to operate top according to manual.
But thats just me, and not about looks. I would lower the windshield if I could...

I only do it when i need to make a phone call, or when it gets freezing with everything down and heater on. Rest of the time EVERYTHING IS DOWN

I never really understood it till i got my s2k. Now after trying to hear the phone while driving with them down i totally understand. Oh well it doesnt really bother me very much, plus it helps me keep a little warmer up here in Alaska.

Some people ask me what's the point of having the top down but windows up but it is obvious for the people who have owned a convertible.

I only do it when I'm on the freeway because of the noise. Otherwise, when I'm driving around town, it's top+windows down all the way
I usually do this on the freeway.. rarely do I do it on the streets.
While we're on topic with the windows, do you guys actually notice a difference with the wind deflector? I tried putting the wind deflector down a few times.. didn't really notice a difference.
