Yep. I work in retail... see my avatar - so that means working every Saturday, and just about every Sunday.

I'm one of those people that gets like a Monday or a Wednesday off work.

I actually have a pair of PILOTI mid cut racing shoes from Hammacher Schlemmer....very comfortable, the soles are patterned by Dunlop, and on the back of the shoe, the soles curve up over the back of the sole for better heel-toe action, and they are very thin, so good contact with the pedals (much closer) they are also very light, breath well, and are nomex (so if my car sets on fire, my feet will be ok!!!!???)

Really comfortable, and worth the 6 month back order wait!

They match my car too, the shoes are black, and the inside is a red/orange leather!

On it being legal or not. It definately is not legal here in West Chester PA. One of my good friends who can't do anything right has been ticketed for it. Its the kind of thing police will notice if your pulled over for speeding or another violation. But yeah, you know, i usualy drive with out shoes.

It's illegal here in Utah. I have racing shoes for my go-karts and it definately gives you a better feel for the pedal.

I drive with my shoes off 95% of the time. I drove for the first time with no shoes on and I guess ever since then I havn't been able to wear shoes while driving.

I drive with sandals 90% of the time in the summer. I always slide the sandals under my seat and drive barefoot.
