Default droning after market exhaust

I just put a CompTech cat-back exhaust on my 2005 S-2000 and enjoy the sound mostly. But it drones or vibrates through much of the RPM power curve. Is this normal and can I decrease it? CompTech says eventually they will have an insert that will reduce the drone but I wonder if it will also reduce the good sound and also reduce some power gains. This is my first post here so excuse me if it is too long or in the wrong place. Love my Honda S-2000!

Wow, I didn't know Comptech drones. From other members that has comptech, they say it doesn't drone at all. With most aftermarket exhaust, the drones occur around 3-4k rpm range.

It's not really a drone. It's harmonics that occur in 3k-4k rpm ranges. You get use to it.
