Default drop with springs with stock shocks a problem?

ok i am planning to drop the s2000 on some springs. either tiens, eibach, spoon but is planning to still use the stock shocks. is that going to be a problem? will it kill my shocks fast or will the ride quality just suck. what other springs do u recomend or do u think is best?

I changed my stock springs with Slinky's! Works great, However I noticed that the car sort of drags on the ground with sparks coming out the back end. Anyone else have this problem when changing from stock springs to Slinky's? I noticed that I tend to flip the car end over end when I hit a speed bump too. It buffed right out.

u will be fine. i have had my kg/mm springs on my stock shocks for over 10k miles and still rides the same as it did when i lowered it! I dont track my car but i do drive it hard sometimes and havent had any problems with my shocks! Go for it and when they wear out u can upgrade to something else.

On Swift springs, which drop less than an inch, I blew out a front shock in 15K miles. Save your money and just get replacement shocks, you'll save by having them installed with the springs anyway.
