Well after 4 months of permanent roof down driving the wet weather has come to Melbourne with a vengeance. I had to drive all the way to work this morning with the roof up. It cleared by this afternoon though and I drove home roof down even though I got hit by a few drops each time I stopped for traffic lights.

Even though Autumn is well on its way it is still reasonably warm with the top temperature today around 20 degrees C (68 Fahrenheit) although I do admit to putting the heater on coming home. Still it sure beats the mid-west in mid-winter.

Now all I gotta do is find a new handle for my location description.

Paul, you'll have to tell me what that means. I moved from Darlington to Australia in 1963 so my geordie is a little rusty (and Darlington is not really geordie anyway).

Twat in Australia is used to describely a uniquely female orifice - I trust that is not what you're referring to!

Now that is innocent, just means lucky in a 'falling into a pile of shit and coming up smelling of roses' sense.
