Default dual intake?

So yeah im at work and really board hence all these threads, but i was just thinking about intakes and my dads corvette. They have a intake that does out to both sides of the front bumper where the fog lights would be. its a My02 (sry if that confusing) anyways, i was thinking... The AEM intakes go to the left front corner of the front bumper, now what i was thinking was customizing a intake so that instead of going to just one corner of the bumper, make it so there is air filters on both sides of the bumper.... I think it would look cool under the hood, its always a possibuility for greater airflow. Is this a somewhat cool idea or am i just talking stupid cause im excessivly bored at work...

I have thought about the secondary air pump as well, and i would figure out something for the air filter.

It'll look cool, but I think it'll eat up a lot of space.
Besides, someone will think it as a fake, dual intake look-a-like.

Well, it'll still have to merge and squeeze into the same single inlet of the throttle body. Besides adding another filter to service and possibly suck up water with (hydrolock) I don't see much benefit.

Unless this is a show car - pop the hood and go "ooooohhhhhh".

Yea ITB's would be sick as hell, i would love to get them. But just for fun it would be cool to do this, i mean i dont ever plan on doing FI so space isent really a issue for me, esspacially since there is enough space to fit a house in there when the stock air box comes out. I wonder how much it would cost...

One filter 3 intakes no hydro lock, no heat soak. Is as quiet as stock, weight is the same as stock, runs at ambient temperature, makes 5 to 6 Hp more than stock, and makes 8 ft. pounds of Tq. @ 3200 RPMs.
