Looks a little lean with the intake, which just shows its doing its job and getting you more cooler air. But even n/a thats a little lean for my taste.

Ha, you cheated by putting the fan right in front of the intake.

It looks like a cool intake box. Makes me want some popcorn....

Personally I think it is difficult to emulate real life scenarios with an intake. The static nature of a dyno prohibits the "true" effects/gains an intake may provide. Like this for example. Do you typically drive with a funnel directing air to your lower vent? That is pretty much what you did with the fan.

I too have cut out my side vents and added the grill set, so I agree with the application. I just can't buy into those numbers as being "real".

The fan made no change in performance, we pulled with and without the fan.
As for numbers, the car has been on three different dynos with the same results.

I have the missing plot somewhere, just don't have my hands on it right now.
My top horsepower varies from one dyno to the next but, the gain from the box is always the same (5 to 6 hp and the same for torque), the numbers don't lie.
As for real world day to day driving

I am pretty sold on my Js. I have had just bout ever intake. The aem was best bang for buck. But the throttle response and especially when you are cruising I can feel the difference. Nice looking intake but there is alot of r & d that companies put into there products and I'm sure they have alot more resources

You are right when you say that they have a lot more resources, and I should not make such a statement without fact.
The r & d that companies put into there products are to make money bottom line. Some of the designs cause damage to the car or you have to cut away part of the car to make it fit. As for performance most don

I had a similar idea:

Gather air from both sides of the bumper and merge them into a single collector then into the air box.

Can we get any design plans for this? Maybe a sketch of the box without the air filter? Cost of Materials?
