Default dynamic break in ...new motor

so i was reading up on breakING in a new motor..alot say to drive it under 3k and under 60mph the first 700- 1000 miles...and i also read somewhere about something called dynamic break in..first you would drive the car slow for about 300miles as in under 30k and under 60mph, then after that you would drive your car like a 2 dollar whore with out over reving to redline till you hit 1000miles , so that you can put max load and expand the piston rings better...so what is everyone else is thought on this...cause it kind of sounds like bullshit to me....

MY FLAME SUIT IS ON SO LETS ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about you read the manual as the break-in procedure is documented in it?

Let's try to be a bit more helpful. There really hasn't been a confirmed method, as I can't fathom a scientific method to test both theories. There's just too many variables. What is well known is that breaking the engine in via the manual's suggestion hasn't failed anyone yet. Sure, there's been a few lemons here and there, but this is the method given by most all car manufacturers, which spend millions of dollars on R&D.

Why not just give theory 2 a try? There's been multiple threads from well-knowledged automotive afficionados who've driven the car like they stole it from day one and haven't had any problems.

Not this again!!! Doesn't anybody do a search before posting?
This really has been beaten to death.
But my $.02
I have broken in Two S2K's as per the manual's procedure and have well over 100K without a single mechanical failure. This includes a lot of track time and VTEC engagement on virtually every single 1-2-3 shift every drive, every day. For an idea, I rarely get more than 7K miles out of my rear tires.

I prefer breaking in the Consuela to the Manuel, (don't tell my wife, she thinks the S is too small for that kind of breaking-in)
Cheers,
Mike
