Default Dyno Results

I was doing some research on the forum and online because I know somewhere there has to be a post or something, and I couldn't find anything about it. Can anyone point me on the right direction or provide the link to this interesting subject. Thanks

What are you trying to research? You might want to start with researching dynos and issues with how they make such measurements. If you want to spec sheet race you can just pull up the specs.

Did a dyno day a few weeks ago on a dynojet...

1st friend's '00 ap1 with a little over 100k miles

209 whp, 145 wtq
Mods...K&N fipk, 70mm tp, and T1R 70em single

2nd friend dyno'd his ap1 that same day a few hours later also '00 with 250k on the original motor.

208-209 whp, 143-144 wtq
Mods...AEM EMS 1052U, AEM cai, TP(unsure what size), T1R 70em single
Tuned topping out at 210 whp, 145 wtq.

3rd friend dyno'd his '03 ap1 same day an hour later or so with 60-70k on the motor.

209 whp, 144wtq
Not too sure on his mods...Think he's running a TP.

My07 ap2(my car) dyno'd on the same dyno(tuned) with 70k miles on the motor.

225 whp, 161 wtq
Mods...Flashpro, Injen CAI, 70mm hi-flow cat, Greddy SE Dual.

My ap1 friends are always giving me crap about my car cause it's an ap2 and DBW. My reply, talk to me when you get in the 220's whp N/A (shuts them up real quick).

What ambient temp?
Are those sae corrected?

and do you have the rpm where those numbers were reached?

SO far the power difference has not shown to be enough to give different numbers at the track. Ap2's tend to put down more power but both post the same times on a given track day. Which is odd.

Ambient temps were around high 50's
Yes, SAE corrected

Mine topped out at 8200 or so and hung at the same hp at 8300rpm(redline set to 8300rpm)

Not sure about my friend's cars, though

Well forgive me if I'm wrong, but having a flashpro to tune for your mods is going to make a HUGE difference, right? What I mean is minus the flashpro, you'd probably be at about the same horsepower figures as your friends..

These are from a dyno day we did almost 2 years ago here locally. All of these cars are stock, except for the possibility of a air filter modded. All actual parts are stock. Ambient temps were more or less the same throughout the entire day, about ~80.

AP1's (edit: Apparently the top two aren't stock )

(vu's (above) engine isn't quite stock, it's built for boost, despite not being boosted)

And the stock AP2's

Same dyno. Same day. Relatively same temp.

For shits and giggles, mine then and now:

Flashpro alone does little to nothing for increasing peak power. The real gains are in the mid-range...20+ hp/tq over stock from the low 4000s up to normal vtec engagement if you have a high-flow cat or testpipe. This certainly makes the car much quicker and more fun, but it won't really do much for that peak power number on a dyno.

We started off with around 221-222whp and 157-158wtq before tuning..But that was on the injen CAI Hondata base tune/flash. Stock tune would probably be a little less(215-220whp, 150-155wtq).

Agreed, 3k rpm and up the car has much more noticeable torque and the transition into vtec is super smooth. Car runs smoother and just wants to rev all day long. 3k rpm's of vtec like the ap1's is also nice.
