Default dyno'd my S today

I went and dynoed my S today. Current mods are ARC Box, and Buddy Club Header. I know alot of stock S's are dynoing these numbers if not higher. Granted heat and humidity may play a big role in the numbers also. just wondering if you would take this as low figures?

i guess arc and buddy club header didn't really do much for u,u should of went for injen intake or berk headers or something.cause 207hp that's like a stock ap2 dyno.

The dyno curve is about what you'd expect. Bolt on mods don't do much except for FI.

Your dyno numbers are about right on for an AP2. 93 degrees with 54% humidity combined with only a header and cai, you're going to come in around stock AP2 numbers.

hmm.. getting tuned with just header/CAI? I wouldnt think a tune would be all that necessary without further mods.

Impossible to analyze those dyno numbers by themselves. Only by comparing two cars on the same dyno with the same operator under the same conditions can you really get meaningful results. You could go down the street to another shop with a Mustang dyno and show 230 whp. You could go to another dynojet and end up with 200 whp.

Dynos are grate for tuning or for evaluating modifications because you are using the same tool the same way to measure before/after power. But trying to compare a couple different dyno results form different shops on different days, EPSECIALLY with different brands/models of dynomometers, figure at least a 10% potential for error. In other words if shop A could dyno an s2k at 200 whp and shop B on a different day might dyno the same car at 220 whp.

One thing is for sure: that ambient temperature is costing you at least 10whp compared to what you would see on a cool (60 degree) evening.
