Hi everyone,

It was such a long day for me. Firstly, on my way to the dyno I got stuck at the U.S. border .The U.S. Customs asked me "why are you carrying another exhaust ?" Well, this took me a whole hour to explain this crap to him.

Finally I have made a few dyno runs and here's the results :

Here's the setting for my baseline run :
-Mugen intake
-T1R Header
-stock exhaust and cat

vs

-Mugen intake
-T1R Header
-Type One Racing sports exhaust with test pipe

Actually I am quite surprised that a good 12whp gain during peak and the low end and mid-range were improved as well. I will have for driving impression when I hit the track next year around spring time.

Here's the specs for the T1R Sport exhaust.
-63mm piping
-11.15kg (24.5 lbs)
-T304 Full stainless construction
-come with test pipe , b-pipe , muffler and silencer (gaskets & bolt set)

Here's the link for my previous post to show you how it looks like.

Should the A/F ratio be that high?

To say that I was amazed while at MPS is an understatement.
And keep in mind the car was equipped with the stock ECU the whole time.

I'm definately considering swapping out my Amuse dual for it because it is inexpensive and offers excellent performance.

Oh and while we're on the topic about dynoes, we also did two back-to-back runs comparing the car with ground kit connected and disabled before we swapped the exhuast. The car gained 2+ hp throughout the rev range. I was again amazed.

JL9000,

Don't you think you could duplicate the gains by adding a test pipe to your Amuse?

I have a test pipe with my Amuse, but it is definately still slower than the T1R. It could be due to the fact that I have the Amuse dual.

Having a test pipe throws a CEL for the stock ECU, but I have the Mugen one, so I don't have to worry about that.

Looks like the reason you got better numbers was because your A/F leaned out
