The ebrake/console area gets warm/hot after some driving
I didn't really notice this until recently but after driving around a bit, the ebrake area gets pretty warm (I rest my hand on the ebrake when driving). Is this normal?
It's perfectly normal. The s2000's transmission tunnel does not have any insulation so things tend to get hot around the console ,ebrake, and "warm cup holder".
I've heard people mention this before. Mine seems to stay fairly cool. Maybe after a high speed run it would warm up because it's near the transmission.
Had thr=e same probem with my first sports car - a bored out 1957 TR-3 I restored and painted (heresy) MGB blue. I called it "the heater". The real heater did not work. Lucas.
