Edmunds "best used car" article
The 2004-2005 years were chosen because they were close to the $19,900 cap they set are easier to handle at the limit v. the AP1's.
I didn't know you could get 2002-2003 M3's for under $20K now. Thats a harder hit than the S2000 took in value!

s2k has better reliability according to many, maybe thats why
(im not saying that^^^ opinion is accurate, it just seems to be the idea everyone has in the mind)
I thought the point he made about the sti was funny

s2000 and m3 are about the same as far as Im concern with reliability. But the maintenance cost is day and night. I cannot speak for everyone here, but when I work on my own S2000 it look like as if I am working on my Civic.
and if something go wrong with the M3, you better make sure your ass is loose enough so that it doesn't hurt when you take it to the dealer... or a BMW certified mechanic.

In fact, the S2000 has been called a four-wheeled superbike, which either means it's the car of your dreams or a high-revving, cramped and noisy nightmare. That's for you to decide.
