Hey, (expletive deleted), just because you don't like them doesn't mean you have to sling personal insults at those of us who do own them. A toyota camry sounds about right for you.

I love my s2000, and I also love my Jag. Your diatribe sounds more like envy and jealously than an expression of your taste.

Agh just what I like to see some objective opinions.

Glad Cal at least will give the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe some of you should go and drive the X-Type. I did, and the A4. It was not the sport version, or even the manual. However it did IMO handle reasonably well. Though the auto did seemingly 'suck' the torque from the car.
The Audi was the better car but that does not mean the Jag is a bad car.

As for looks. Each to their own. I for one give the X-Type the yes vote.

Just to make my position (and status) clear, I own the supercharged, 375 hp XKR coupe, heir apparent to the E series Jaguar. You couldn't GIVE me an S or X type--I think they're both ugly. (Well, you could, but I'd sell it and use the money to buy a Suzuka Blue to match my new S2ki jacket.)

And by the way, my XKR has been absolutely trouble-free through 13k miles so far.

Alter ego, what's that? A priest's persona while serving mass?

Seriously, thanks for your interest. Seems like everyone in the universe is on RoadRunner tonight because things are really slow. I'll post a pic tomorrow.
