Get a Comptech adjustable http://marketplace.s2ki.com/s2ki/product.p...7&cat=12&page=1

Become a Gold Member of S2Ki for $50, and you just paid for your membership and saved another $20.

It's expensive, but except for the Comptech, there are issues with all of the other aftermarket swaybars out there. Do a search on Saner and Gendron and you'll see what I mean.

I love my Gendron bar but it does clunk while in reverse and turning. Other than that great performance. The comptech bar is topnotch.

FWIW, the '00 and '01 cars have a larger, stiffer front bar than the '02s and on. You can find someone's take-off bar from an early car for $50, or buy one from the dealer for around $125. It made a difference when I started autocrossing.

I also have a Saner bar. It is off the car right now as I am trying to redesign the endlinks. Other than the clunk from the links, it has worked very well. There are delivery problems with Saner though.

Having compared the stock '02 bar, the stock '00 bar and the Saner bar, I would say that for street use or street tires at an autocross, the stock '00-01 bar on a '02 or later car is all the bar you really need. But if you just want to buy a bar, get a Comptech and go nuts.

I need some more info on swaybars. Is it really necessary to get an adjustable one or is that just for serious trackers? What would be the benefits of a rear bar? I know(correct me if i'm wrong) that a thicker front bar would plant the rear wheels for less oversteer. Are the MY04 as loose endy as the previous S's? Would a 30mm bar do or would the cusco 34mm?

I'f im hijacking the thread im sorry and i will post elsewhere. Thanks
