I was hoping to get some feedback on lowering springs. Due to the limited availablity i have over here in the uk (without importing) i have narrowed it down to Eibach Pro's Vs Tein S Springs.
Could you give me some more info on these as regards to the ehight of the drop an the ride comfort?
They will be going on the standard suspension to start with, Ideally id like a good drop without too harsh a ride,
Tein S springs are known to be soft, probably softer then the Eibachs. You will want to change out the dampers(shocks) as well. By changing the springs on OEM dampers, it will not only degrade the handling performance of the car but also prematurely wear out the dampers. I suggest to change both springs and dampers at the same time. Koni Yellow or KYB GR2's are a good cost alternative. Good Luck

Get a set of Koni Yellow;they can be as soft as the OEM,when adjusted at full SOFT.!!!
And get an alingment.!!!
Ok, so the Teins Springs will give a softer ride? I guess thats more crutial to me than the actual drop, but out of interest what is the difference in height?
Would it be ok to install the springs first then wait a few months before adding the koni's? Or is it a must that both are done at the same time?

If you don't do the install yourself, you will have to pay twice for the install, and it can easily be around $400.00 each time.!!!
I have Eibachs on OEM shocks and it's freaking perfect, I have had this set up for 15,000 miles now and the handling, height and look is awesome, don't spend more money thatn you have to.
very similar to stock ride- with just about an inch drop
as mentioned above, be sure to break them in (about a week) and then have the car aligned again (i did an aggressive street alignment- hard to believe but the car handles better than new)
