I had my S2000 in for a routine oil change the other day. I was killing time, looking at what was on the lot (**) when I was approached by a salesman.

I have it on good authority from this guy that 2006 "will" be the last year model for the S2000!

Drive Safe,
Steve R.

** they've got two GPW's, a NFR, and Suzuka Blue on the lot at Clear Lake Honda, Webster, TX. all 2005 models, if anyone's interested! As of 11-17-05 that is.

Actually, the 06 model is the SEVENTH year of production. 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06.
Eighth year. The Asian market had a model year 1999. The first model year in the U.S. and Europe was 2000.

And if anybody besides the president of Honda himself says they know the future of the S2000, they're lying.
Actually it is the EIGHT year of S2000 because I'm pretty sure there are MY99 S2000's in Japan.
