Default The end of S2000

When will be the last year for the s2000?? does any body know? i know they make 2006 S2000, That's six years in production and considered long for any type of cars...I wonder if they come out with a new one...Will this site continue to run after its end??

i'm sure once the production run is over this site will be here for a long time to come. it's not like current owners wont want to talk about their cars anymore. and there will always be new owners of used S2000s.

I hope we don't have to wait another 40+ yrs for the next S2000 (the last one was in 1950's S500 i think) By then we're all be too old to enjoy a sport car.

Actually, the 06 model is the SEVENTH year of production. 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06.

And if anybody besides the president of Honda himself says they know the future of the S2000, they're lying.

Asking a question like that is like asking in the 1930's when is Einstein going to die. You never ask when something so grand will come to an end, it's not something that you should be thinking of. What you should be thinking of is, how long will it be before I have one of every color in my garage.

I think they will at least make an '07 model year. Look at all the updates they did on the '06. It always costs money to make any changes to a car. Why would they have invested the money to make changes if it was their last year? It wound't make sense for a money making money like Honda. Just my 2 cents.
