Default End of Year Car Sales

So do dealers really want to move cars off the lot before the end of the year?
Can someone walk in and offer a "pretty lowball" price on a new or used S2000 right after Christmas?
Has anyone here gotten a good deal during this time and do any car sales people care to chime in on this?

I just picked up my '08 Laguna Blue S2000 this weekend for $28750 in Houston. Yes there are deals to be had and Honda is offering $2500 in incentives on the '08s.

Go the last 2 days of the month, they need to meet their quota and get rid of the '08s, especially in December.

And lowball the hell out of them!!
