Just curious if anyone has it, and whether or not it actually makes a difference. Also, anyone have the wheel locks? I think my dealer's trying to take me for a ride on those, charging $65 for install on those and $160 for install for the block heater.

I don't know anything about the heater, but it sounds like you're getting hosed on the locks. I have them and definitely recommend them, but I don't remember them costing anywhere near that much.

Wheel locks are about $30.00. If you can change a tire, you can install them yourself.

Block heater is about $32.00 plus the cost of replacing your cooling system fluid. If you can change the oil, you can install it yourself. hparts.com has the installation instructions on their website if you want to see how easy it is to do.

Block heaters are great if you live where it gets below freezing and stays there.

I bought wheel locks from the dealer as one of the options and wish I hadn't. They cost me about $30. They had forgotten to put them on when I picked the car up so I took them with me.

I installed them later and it takes no more than 10 minutes, one per wheel. So $160 for the job is ridiculous.

The big issue is size/height of the locks. They are taller in height than the lug nuts that come on the car. They also weigh about twice as much as a S2K lug nut, thereby having some influence on wheel balance. I didn't notice any real difference in balance but they are ugly. They stick out like a sore thumb. I will swap them out soon.

I believe "cdelena" posted a response recently that better locks are available in Europe from Honda (proper height and weight). I recently tried while over on a business trip with no luck, not enough time. I will get them later.

Meanwhile, my advice is to save your money and buy something that is a better fit size wise and looks better.
