The dealer wants $200 (including parts) to install the engine block heater. I hate to go through a dealer, but I was thinking this might become a warranty issue. Hard top guy can get me the part for around $40-50.....

Any experience or recommendations?

 

Block-heaters are a fairly simple installation. Buy the parts, and if you can't figure out how to do it then take it to the dealership.
