Engine cutsout. WHY?

Nope no CEL light, the only light I have is the Maintenance Req'd one. Which is nothing.

yup, even when its 115 outside I still let it warm up a little. lol I think i read somewhere normal operating temp is 150? seems low tho..

The other thing to remember is if you are low on oil. The Vtec solenoid needs the proper level of oil.

3 bars
Proper amount of oil

the car sitting in the sun doesnt mean the engine is warmed up. My car sits in the sun for hours while im at work.... the engine needs to run for a certain time in order for it to be warm. It may be 3 bars on the gauge it may not. The vehicle determines when it is safe to hit vtec and it wasnt safe at that time. It's normal. Just warm her up before you beat her up.

I dare you to put your bare hands on your engine after it's been running.

It's just a tad bit warmer than 90 degrees fahrenheit....

Yea, it's scary that people need to ask if their high compression high performance engine needs to be at proper operating temperature meanwhile they are revving to forever...
