it seems that my engine is having problems keeping at idle. lately when i'm stuck in traffic at first gear, whenever i step on the clutch to release the gear (to slow down), the engine would of course rev down, but sometimes it'd rev down to 700-800 range, feels like it want to stall, then the engine would push itself back up to 1100-1200 and settle down at 1000. should i be worried about this?

I've notice the same thing on mine, but without the stalling act. It doesn't seem to affect anything I can tell. I've only got 700 miles on mine. I wonder if mileage makes a difference?

Mine does that sometimes too after I've been driving around for a while, 8500 miles. Don't think it is anything to worry about

Mine does this on occassion as well. I think it's been discussed in the past. Mine only does it when the car is just getting warmed up to three bars, and then for only a couple of minutes. It doesn't happen every time but when it does it's under those circumstances.

My car when sitting at a stop light idling...if i rev it up it will dip below 1K RPM and kind of vibrate like it is going to stall...but that only happens when it first reaches 3 bars and typically goes away when it is fully warmed up.

Mine does it, not really worried about that. What I don't like is how the car acts on hot days. The couple of 100+ days we had this summer, caused my car to act sluggish (only on those days). Has anybody changed out the factory temp sensor w/ one with a lower trig. point? Did it work?

My car does that too, but only when it's starting to warm up. Don't think it's anything to worry about. I have a Honda Prelude too, and it displays similar characteristics.
