<LI>switch to defrost[/list]They should switch. I got caught w/ that last night. Had the a/c / air off, switched to defrost and turned it up to clear the windows. Brrrrr. Wet feet, a/c, and the temp down don't mix.
Something that a lot of people don't notice right away about the defrost setting:
If you turn the switch to defrost it will turn on the A/C. But after that if you turn the switch to any other setting, it will not turn off the A/C.
Many months ago, shortly after the S2000 came out, someone posted about a mysterious loss of power and stumbling at low speed. Turned out he had turned the defrost on the night before and the next day had the top down, changed the switch setting and couldn't see the green light that indicated the A/C was still on.
He didn't notice it until that night when he could see the A/C light again.

mine does it (dips when I let the revs drop down to the idle range) pretty regularly except when cold.
No ac, no defrost.
Which sensors should this have some connection with? MAP (tried the map whack, no change), temp, iac?

Pretty sure it's the map sensor thing.. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry1439202
