Engine light came on........

My engine light came on today. My car has 12,200 miles on it. I know it can't be the gas cap cover. I got gas about a week ago and drove it 2 or 3 times before today. Anyone have any guesses as to what it could be?

It can be one of dozens of different things. You'll never know till you have the code pulled.

The gas cap can come loose at ANY time but I've only read posts about us 02 owners having the problem with the caps.

My engine light comes on all the time. Damn, I click the thing three times, with the precision of opening a safe, its getting pretty annoying. Never problems with my Saab or Suburban with this.
