Hi guys, I'm helping a friend buying his 2002 s2k. The car is flawless. It just has a weird engine number on the rego : Engine number: FZ0C and not F20C... just wondering if this is just simply a typo ...

as far as i know im pretty sure its f20C for the USDM ap1

 

Sounds like a typo to me. I've never heard of an FZ0C engine, and it seems pretty suspect considering the 2000-2003 S2000s all had F20C engines in them throughout the entire world.

 

maybe it looks like it say FZ0C cuz the sticker got bent up! lol

 

No no no, thats the type R s2000's engine code!

 

probally a typo like said above, Ap1's everywhere have the f20c.

 

I thought F20C is JDM,
where USDM have like number behind it like F20C1 & F22C1

 

and Asia/europe F20C2
