Hi guys,

Not been on the forum much so most of you don't know but I need some advice as in a bad spot. The car engine has got problems due to low engine oil, I know I'm an idiot before you mention the obvious. I'm now wondering what's the best thing to do as the engine needs to be either reconditioned or replaced and both these options are not cheap. I'm not in the business so would need to pay the labour for it all. Are there any reputable people able to help me fix it and how much would I be expecting to pay? Or if I sold with damage how much could I get for it? Should I strip the car or sell it whole?

The car is a 2002 52 plate with 67.5k on the clock and was always serviced at Honda with full service history. The colour is silver with red leather. Wondering what's the best option available. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd replace it with a used engine and drive it or sell it.

 

I'm in Surrey. If i put an engine in, do you know where I can source one and find a place to fit?

Try calling your local junk yards etc. etc. Or sell it to someone else and buy a "new" one.
