Default The engine in the s2000
Someone told me that the engine in the s2000 is a Lotus design built for the Honda. Any truth to this or is it Honda all the way.

Lotus = Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious.





Honda has as much, if not more racing heritage, as Lotus. Esp all types of small displacement engines. BTW... hear about Honda getting back into making Formula One motors, next year?

Reminds me of the Toyota salesman who told me the MR-2 (Spyder) was a "gift" from Porsche since Toyota "bailed them out," or something like that.

If anything, Lotus outsources their motors from companies like Toyota. They are not really known for their engines.
