Default Enough clearance between helmet top and hardtop?

For those of you running the OEM hardtop (or other hardtop), do you find
any space issues between your helmet and the hardtop? At the track, over
uneven pavement, does your helmet bump into the hardtop?

I'm 6feet tall and was wondering if I'll have problems with helmet bumping
the hardtop with stock seats and stock everything else.

Tks,
Jimmy

if your helmet will fit with the soft top then yes it will fit if you have the hardtop installed - the roofline is not lowered with a hardtop

i smacked my head against the side of the hard top once.

but i was also doing a 180 spin so who knows.

for the most part you should be ok. I'm 5'11" and I fit fine w/ a Bell M2.

I'm 6'3" and find I have *slightly* less room with the hardtop in place while using a helmet. I suspect it's just my seating poition and torso length. The difference is subtle and is nowhere near what I had in my Preludes. I haven't had to use the soft top much with my helmet on but I can make contact with the rib just behind my head which is about where I notice the hard top making contact. Perhaps I notice this more because I've rarely had the top up when autocrossing...

There is less headroom with the hardtop than with the softtop.
