I got a AP1 s2000 and I’m having EPS issues. When the light is off it would fight me when I turn the wheel either way when the light is on I have no power steering. I finally got it scanned today and these were the codes
I hope someone can help me on this!! Thanks in advance!
If you clear do they all come back? Open in circuit. I’d start by checking your connector at the eps. Check the harness for chewed wires from rodents and look in the connector to car of there’s any corrosion on terminals

sometimes the light comes off and when that happens it’s hard to turn like it’s fighting you. But I haven’t done an actual reset with a obd2 reader or do a full re learn on the EPS. Which probably will be my next step!
Sometimes low battery can cause funky problems and believe it or not I see weird stuff happen all the time due to low batteries. Sometimes conditions won’t clear until codes are reset which hopefully could be your case.

thank you for your reply, I thought of my low battery as well and I replaced it, but that didn’t fix the issue. I’ll be getting it reset tomorrow most likely! I was thinking of my fuse but doesn’t look bad. My air pump fuse is corroded and it’s beside that fuse so maybe it’s corroded as well. But that’s too easy lol
That Dont look good at all. That’s a lot of corrosion. Corrosion and rust is a highly resistant to current flow. I’d take a closer look under those fuses and make sure you’re wiring harness is t like that

I replaced both fuses this morning but I didn’t look hard enough under the fuses. I’ll take them out again and look and check for corrosion. Thanks for the tip. When I replaced the fuses nothing changed unfortunately, but maybe because I need to reset the light. I don’t know, time will tell!
