Default Espelir ASD Springs

These springs have been discussed to death. The latest news I am reading is that the Espelir drop rate is too low for the stock struts/shocks.

My question is, how many of you have had the Espelir Springs and changed to something else.
Also, how many of you have had these springs for over a year (on stock struts/shocks) and still like them.

Please feel free to share your long term experiences.

I had them on stock struts for a couple months. They were fine when I removed them to replace them for Koni Yellows. Im pretty sure I could go on for at least a year if I wanted to on stock shocks.

i put them on thinking that they would kill the stockers then id go with the konis or full coilovers, but almost 3 years and 20k miles later they're still good.

i will be as soon as i get the funds for some coilovers... i need the height adjustability,
plus id prefer a more "raked" look

either way, there are too many variables to have a definate answer on whether
such and such spring will be "too low" for our shocks...

anything lower than oem supposedly wears out the stock shocks faster than normal;
but also factor in the current condition of the shocks and how hard they are driven...

imo, youre gonna be replacing those shocks anyways, so the real choices are:

1. go with springs and use the stock shocks for yourself (milk em for what its worth)
and replace when time comes or upgrade to coilovers

2. go with coilovers from the get-go and sell old shocks or keep them for when you sell the car

3. stay stock

hope this helps?
