After my 3rd coat of Zaino, took it out in heavy rain yesterday, handles great. The only drawback is it got dirty

Oh another drawback is having the top up, don't like that either.

I agree with you about crappy roads diminishing the fun, however, I think this car is a tremendous amount of fun in the snow. Wet conditions is only slightly less fun and entertaining but still a blast. I didn't buy this car because it was a convertible so not being able to have the top down is not a detriment to me.
