So the weather is nice and I've got the top down. Just cruising along, and I hear a vehicle pass with this guy shouting something I think at me.

He pulls into a turning lane and has to stop, and as I drive by I look and sure enough, he is yelling at me! Apparently I am a STUPID MF.

I try to think, "was I doing something wrong? Did I cut that guy off?". The answer was NO. I did not do anything. Like I said, I was just cruising, minding my own business.

I thought a more likely scenario was I pissed him off another day when I was in Fast and Furious mode. I don't think I've cut anyone off, but I cerntainly have blown by a few. The are so many ricers to beat and so little time

Anyway, since our cars are failry unique, I guess they are noteable. Anyone have a similar experience by tearing it up in their part of town and it comes back to haunt them later?

Maybe that guy was just insane, or he was driving one of those Civics I smoked!
Funny, I had the exact same thing happen over the weekend and I thought about posting it...

Sitting at a stoplight minding my own business, top down, windows up, nice night finally. In a double turn lane to the left through an intersection... Truck is in the lane next to me, I'm listening to the music at a moderate to low level. Over the music I hear "hey look at this guy"... all the sudden the truck is next to me (light still red) some kid about my age (20 or so) goes "what'd you steal your girlfriends car for the night?" ... "yeah, pretty much" ... light turns green. truck driver gets on it. it was immature, but i got on it to bolster some fury from my "girlfriends car"... i didn't break the speed limit, they creep up next to me while we're driving.... guy goes... "congratulations, you're a douchebag" ... "thanks!" ... guy goes "you know how long it would take me to f*** you up?" ... "how long?" ... guy has this you-didn't-just-effing-say-that-look ... i said "have a nice night man" rolled up the window, and just cruised on my way.

Used to happen even more when I had my Mercedes 400E, even though it was worth about 1/4 the S2000... I'd get "How rich are your parents" at like every other light... Pretty lame.

Im reminded of the celica commercial where the old man yells "slow down" to a parked celica. There really are people just looking to vent day in and day out. I've had more than my fair share "WTF did I do?" momments. Maybe some were deserved , but some weren't.

I havent had anyone yell at me. I do get more compliments or silly questions with my top down. Common ones are, "Nice car." or "How much horsepower does that have?" The best one was from a CHP officer pulling up to me and saying, "Thats a Honda?"

yeah, I've been yelled at a couple times... one of those just random times where I'm scooting around minding my own business with the top down and someone yells "dumb ass" or something like that.

I really do think it is just that so many people are HELLA-JEALOUS

One other time was in my neighborhood coming around a corner hard like jadyn @25mph with the top down, "SLOW DOWN!!!". I just yelled back, "whatever". Those people are always out in front of their house staring down every car that goes by. The next time they yell at me, I'm going to give them a piece of my mind ... lol

the thing that pisses me off is people who honk or yell at you when they made the mistake. like one time i was making a left turn out of my neighorhood didnt see any cars while making the turn this car comes speeding up at like around 60 n brakes hard n honks at me. its a 45 mph zone.

You guys think it's bad being a GUY w/ an s2k in traffic, try being a chick lol. Being a chick in general in a "nice" car is a recipie for disaster, because you have creepy people that stare you down as if they are undressing you with thier eyes, then you have the bitchy girls/women they look at you as if they wish your head would explode. This has happened in pretty much all the cars I've had since I haven't driven anything "normal" or stock since about 16years old lol. The S is definitely entertaining though, I had some old dude give me a card the other night w/ his SON'S phone # on it LOL. He kept saying how HE was looking at the car, while he son was more interested in me. Needeless to say, I never called. YIKES.
